The pycairo documentation you are referencing is outdated, see
https://pycairo.readthedocs.io/en/latest/reference/index.html for the
new location. Typos are probably the same, but you can fix things by
submitting a PR on github.

Note that of the API docs are in many cases straight copies of the
cairo docs, so any typo in pycairo might need fixing in cairo as well.

I've fixed the 'sheering' typo in the upstream cairo codebase. Thanks
for the fix, good eye.

I couldn't grep a 'loosing' typo in the current codebase though; I
suspect it may have already been caught.
