Hi Cairo Developers,

If anyone is interested, I have created a new Linux Chess GUI using GTK+ and Cairo.

If you want to try it please have a look at my website. The program runs on Ubuntu 14.04 / 16.04 best but I also have installers for Fedora and Raspberry Pi versions.

15. Can I see the source code ?
No, sorry...
I am more than willing to share bits and bobs on
how things were implemented but am not able yet to share the code on
a general basis.
Well, I had some minimal interest, as I did a very plain GUI myself
once -- about 200 lines of code (less than 10 hours of work) with UTF8
chess font:

Well, a real GUI would be some work, maybe some hundreds hours.
